Grant Application


We will begin accepting grant applications for the 2021 fiscal year beginning on June 1, 2020, through July 31, 2020. The fiscal year begins on October 1st.

In order to qualify for a grant from the Alabama Association of RC&D Councils, your project must cover at least THREE of our council regions and you must be requesting a minimum of $3,000.00. If your project is local, please visit our Find Your Council page.

Grant Information:

When reviewing grant applications, the applications that will take priority are the applications that fall under the priorities set by the Board of Directors of the Alabama Association of RC&D Councils. To find out if your application will fall under the priorities set for the 2021 fiscal year please review the FY 2021 Grant Priorities.

FY 2021 Grant Priorities

Requirements if your application is approved:

1.) You MUST be a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization or unit of government/public entity (i.e. school, park, fire department, senior center, etc.)

2.) The funding is on a reimbursement basis. You will not receive your grant funding until you have completed your project.

3.) You will receive and sign a cooperative agreement before you begin your project. This will outline what is expected of you to receive reimbursement.

4.) You will be given our logo and will be required to credit the Alabama Association of RC&D Councils.

5.) There will be a form you will need to complete to be able to receive reimbursement.
